In this Botanical Painting workshop with Barbara Thomas, the focus will be on spring flowers and plant forms from the gardens. Students will pick branch forms and early seasonal blooms to paint in the studio, learning and practicing traditional methods of classic botanical painting: looking closely at plant parts and forms, mixing color, brush strokes, special effects. This workshop is for beginner to experienced students. Please bring your own materials. Some materials will be available at LongHouse.
