Coronavirus Safety

Covid-19 Update
All coach and tour operators want to ensure the safety of customers, staff and suppliers and this is their number one priority during the coronavirus outbreak.   Since 19th July 2021, there have been an easing of restrictions, however, precautions remain in place. Each tour operator/hotel/attraction may have different policies in place, but all government guidelines will be adhered toif or when they change.

Coach Safety Measures
Enhanced Coach Cleaning: Coaches will be cleaned to a higher standard and more frequently, especially the high touch points in and around the vehicle. Some coach operators are using a special sanitising aerosol to ensure nowhere is missed.

Face coverings on board the coach:

Boarding the coach: Prior to boarding the coach you will be expected to sanitise your hands and your temperature may be checked.

On board the coach: Some coach air-conditioning systems now contain air filters, purifying the air circulating within the coach.

Hotel Safety Measures
Hotels have also had to introduce new measures to ensure the health and safety of those who wish to stay. Some of the changes you can expect are:

Hotel reception: There may be protective screens at reception or staff may be offering a contactless service.

Hotel public spaces:Cleanliness remains a priority at the hotel and all public spaces will undergo enhanced deep cleaning.

Hotel bedrooms: After your hotel bedroom has been fully sanitised and undergone a deep clean, then staff may not enter your room until you depart. This means that rooms will not be serviced daily, but many hotels offer clean towels, extra toiletries etc on a request basis.

Attractions and Visits Safety Measures
Each visitor attraction will be different, but the main things you will need to be aware of things we have already covered above: social distancing measures, use of face coverings and potential one-way systems. Staff at the venues will help ensure your visit goes as smoothly as possible.
