I started working for Door2Tour.com over 10 years ago but have been in the travel business a lot longer. I’ve always loved booking holidays for my friends outside of work, primarily to Eastern Europe, the Caribbean and Mexico. I've also been known to organise the odd stag and hen weekends.

I LOVE travel - visiting different places and learning the culture, finding out new things...I like to go off the beaten track and experience the local life. What I love most about my job is speaking to people and finding the perfect holiday. My most knowledgeable areas are European Christmas Markets, Disney and I love any Caribbean Island and Prague. I love the architecture, people and history. It’s easy to get to and isn’t too far for a weekend break.

I have worked in the travel industry since leaving university and have enjoyed every minute. I have worked in several different areas from chartering trains and contracting hotels in Europe to selling tours and a bit of technical stuff thrown in.

Travel is one of my greatest passions and I have spent time living in France, Germany and Australia and travelled to over 47 countries in the world.

My favourite country (apart from my home one of Wales) is India, I love how different but accessible it is, the culture, the people and definitely the food.

I have an endless bucket list of countries I would like to visit, I have not travelled much around the continent of Africa but I think Canada could be up there!

I have been around in the travel industry for over 25 years which I claim to be the cause for my baldness.

I am a qualified Management Accountant and have held financial and commercial roles for Neilson Active Holidays, Thomas Cook and Cosmos Holidays before joining the Albatross Group in 2007.

In 2017 my business partner Steve Hornby and myself bought the company and so currently I am a shareholder and Group CFO, in charge of our group support services.

The “F” in my title very much stands for “Fun”. I love making good things happen, creating a hard working yet fun environment and making a meaningful difference to the people around me.

I have been in charge of Door2Tour.com since 2008, although I use 'in charge' loosely. My team are very much in charge. I just ensure that we have a fantastic team in place who all share the same vision to make Door2Tour.com the best customer experience for browsing and buying holidays, tours and events online.

Having been to university and worked in France I have a passion for Paris and France itself. I love travelling and exploring new places having visited most countries in Europe, my favourite being Italy. If you haven’t visited the Aeolion Islands then be sure to. They are adorable. Further afield I have also visited the Maldives, Thailand, Australia, Florida, Egypt, Malaysia and Singapore.
